Claude Dutson
Architect, Researcher

Dr Claude Dutson, an interdisciplinary practitioner and researcher, explores the intersections of architecture, technology and labour through a critical spatial practice of architectural drawing, CGI modelling and virtual reality. With a background in Architecture and Media Studies, including experience in new media consultancy during the dot-com era, Claude offers a unique perspective shaped by diverse disciplines. Her recent focus on Silicon Valley tech campuses at Apple, Meta and Google delves into the relationship between architecture and management culture, questioning the applicability of their spatial typologies to other businesses. Claude’s work has been featured in prominent publications such as Disegno, FRAME, Architecture and Collective Life, Architecture and Culture. She teaches at the Royal College of Art, Bartlett School of Architecture and University College London. Alongside academic commitments and teaching, Claude regularly lectures at institutions across the UK and Europe and participates in public events discussing topics like the architecture of work and Silicon Valley.
