Actiu is the Spanish benchmark in the design and manufacture of furniture for workspaces, hospitality and home office. A family company with more than 50 years of experience, and with a clear commitment to innovation, design and manufacturing philosophy KM0 of all its products.
Its internationalisation process began more than 35 years ago. The company’s management knew from the outset that international marketing would offer great competitive advantages. Currently, it works in more than 95 countries all over the world, obtaining 50% of its sales internationally. It has its own showrooms in Castalla, Madrid, London, Paris, Lisbon, Sydney, Miami and Dubai.
It works on both national and international projects, with standardised references but also specific ones depending on each need. All its processes are of its own production, from the mechanisation of wood, metal or tooling to the application of finishes. This allows it to take care of every detail of each piece of furniture that leaves its production plant.
The company designs and manufactures furniture to transform workspaces into opportunities that allow organisations to align their transformation challenges with the need for well-being and satisfaction of their workers through its Cool Working® philosophy.
Its Technology Park in Castalla (Alicante) has received sustainability and wellness certifications such as Leed and Well Platinum, being the first industrial building in the world to obtain them together. On the other hand, the design of its products has been recognised by various prestigious international awards such as Red Dot, Design Preis, FX, Delta Awards, If Design and The Best of NeoCon, among others. In 2017, Actiu won the National Design Award and its founder, Vicente Berbegal, won European Businessman of the Year.
