Uli Blum
Zaha Hadid Architects

Uli Blum is an expert in parametric design and space analytics. As Co-head of Zaha Hadid Architecture’s workplace strategies department, ZHA Analytics and Insights, Uli has been involved in over 30 international workplace projects. He has spearheaded algorithm-driven floor plate analysis and space planning innovations, prioritizing rigorous, user-centered design. His workplace strategy and technology expertise proved pivotal for projects such as the Infinitus headquarters in Guangzhou and Unicorn Island, a pioneering live-work master plan in Chengdu, China. Before joining ZHA in 2011, Uli Blum held leading roles at OMA Asia and Gehry Technologies in Hong Kong. He has a master’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Architectural Association in London and holds a professorship at the Münster School of Architecture in Germany. Uli Blum shares his expertise through teaching and lecturing on workplace design at esteemed universities and conferences worldwide.
