Emotioneering the Workplace: How to Bring Joy, Magic, and Wonder to the Office

“In the future, businesses will create work environments that embrace and celebrate the full spectrum of human emotion, making room for joy in our professional lives. By incorporating collective experiences that evoke emotions, we’ll foster a greater sense of connection, belonging, and meaning at work.”

Think of the average office—does that thought fill you with joy? Today, most workplaces are functional at best. But what if they could actively stir or respond to emotions, sparking imaginations, stimulating our senses, or fostering a sense of serenity? Instead of just measuring productivity, what if we could track the impact of heart swells, jaw drops, and bursts of joy? In this session, Marie Stafford will unpack how “emotioneering” the office could reignite passion and purpose, reconnecting people to their work and to each other.
