A distinctive feature of neues lernen is its unique visual concept: each year’s edition is designed by a different illustrator, and the illustrations characterise the entire magazine, giving it a distinctive look. In 2024, the magazine received two awards in recognition of its quality and innovative strength: the German Trade Press Association named neues lernen ‘Trade Publication of the Year’, highlighting its compelling multimedia concept and bold cover design. In addition, the magazine received the European Publishing Award for its striking cover concept.
