In her keynote speech, Sophie Kleber shared her personal perspective on the potential of artificial intelligence in the design of working environments. She described how the integration of AI can transform offices into sentient living spaces, where digital and physical factors equally influence our mood, productivity and collaboration.
It all starts with the user and their individual needs. What initially sounds obvious takes on a whole new dimension with the help of new data sources. New materials and technologies are opening up entirely new possibilities for furniture and space design. Ideally, the end result will be “sentient” spaces that interact with their users.
