Beyond Green Buildings: Redefining Workplace Sustainability in the Age of the AI

Sustainability in workplace design is due for an upgrade. As the race for technological dominance – from AI to AGI – accelerates, the climate agenda is shifting from ethics to pragmatism. In this keynote, Dr Guzmán de Yarza Blache argues that workplaces can no longer be conceived as static ‘green’ environments measured only through ESG metrics. Instead, they must become more sophisticated and adaptive to cater for the needs of the new generation of companies thriving in the Age of AI.
